Aluminium with a high-gloss finish
All die-cast aluminium parts are polished to a high gloss and then finished using 30 micron chrome.
This permanently prevents the aluminium from discolouring and oxidising, so that you can enjoy your Eames Aluminium Chair for a long, long time.

Robust technology
The height of the Aluminium Group office chairs can be adjusted by up to 10 centimeters with a pneumatic lift certified by TÜV (German technical inspection association).
The angle of the backrest can be smoothly adjusted to any position, and the rocking mechanism can be locked in place.
Precision castors
Our castors are made in Germany using chrome-plated, die-cast zinc. They are incredibly smooth and quiet.
A thin rubber coating on the running surface of the castors means the chair will glide on both hard and soft surfaces.
