Elegant tubular steel frame
What is particularly appealing about this design is the mitre welded tubular steel. This feature is signature Eileen Gray and demands a high degree of precision when it comes to the welding and polishing process.
As with all steelform classics, the tubular steel is finished to a high gloss elegance in a three-step chromium plating process.
Robust base
The tubular steel frame surrounds a hardwood box spanned with a nylon webbing. The base is upholstered with Dacron batting and covered with our finest anilin leather.
Comfort you can sink into
The loose mattress on the daybed is made using inherently stable foam. A layer of Dacron batting adds comfort and gently rounds the edges.
The high-quality upholstery makes the daybed ideal as a guest bed, provided your guest is not too tall. The daybed is 190 cm long.
Sumptuous leather
The covering on our Eileen Gray daybed is carefully constructed with meticulously selected leather panels. Each panel is sewn and welted by hand. Each button is finished individually and covered with the same leather.
